- Jack Daniel's Legacy: World's Best Whiskey
Lynchburg is famous for whiskey...Jack Daniel Whiskey. But who was this little man? And how did he come to make the finest whiskey in the world? Here's the story of one man and his quest for making the best whiskey and what proved to be his undoing in the end. The Distillery is located in a "dry" county. You can't buy whiskey for consumption in Lincoln County. However, Miss Mary BoBo's Boarding House always serves a dish containing the local hometown "product" at every meal.

- James Payton's Weekend Weather
On the weather map...After all the rain and severe weather we have received across north Alabama the last week we now appear to finally have a break in the weather pattern this weekend. High pressure will shift in from the west starting Friday through the weekend. Rainfall is not expected through the forecast period. Temperatures will cool down a bit with 50s for highs & 30s for lows...but that is not too bad for late January. Long-range models are hinting much colder weather as we move into February.
My official Tennessee Valley weekend forecast...
Friday...Partly cloudy. High 51.
Friday Night...Partly cloudy. Low 31.
Saturday...Partly cloudy. High 52.
Saturday Night...Partly cloudy. Low 30.
Sunday...Partly cloudy. High 53.
Have a great weekend everyone!
